Terms
By reading the site, creating an account, joining the letter or becoming a Frequenter, you agree to these terms.
Last updated October 2026
01
The publication
The Frequenter is an independent publication exploring topics like the esoterica, yoga, astrology, and the research, histories and cultures surrounding them.
Nothing here is medical, legal, financial or therapeutic advice. Astrology, ritual and related practices are offered as culture, entertainment, and history, not as prediction or instruction you must follow.
02
Accounts
You must be 13 or older to hold an account. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on the account while it is signed in as you.
We may close an account that is used to abuse the site, harass other readers, or scrape the site. If we do, we will say so at the email we have for you, unless the law or safety makes that unwise.
03
Membership
A Visitor may read what is unlocked. A Frequenter may read the full digital library on the terms shown at signup.
Membership renews on the cadence you chose and can be cancelled from your account at any time. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
Prices, cadence and what a tier includes can change. We will not change the price of a period you have already paid through.
04
The letter
The weekly letter is optional. You can leave it from the unsubscribe link in any newsletter that was sent to your designated email address upon sign up. Unsubscribing from the letter does not cancel a paid membership, and cancelling membership does not always remove you from the letter unless you click "Unsubscribe".
05
Content and copyright
All entries, text, artwork, design and audio on this site are the property of The Frequenter. You may not copy, scrape, republish, reuse or train a model on them.
If you want to credit or re-share our work, write to hello@thefrequenter.com.
06
Pitches and letters
If you send us a pitch, a letter or a reader submission, you give The Frequenter permission to read it, reply to it, and, if we commission or publish it, to edit and publish it on terms we will agree with you in writing before it runs.
Sending work does not mean we will publish it.
07
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to break the law, attack the service, harvest addresses, impersonate The Frequenter, or post material that is hateful, illegal, or intended to harm someone.
Automated scraping of our digital library is not permitted.
08
The site as it stands
We work to keep the site available and our library intact. We do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may change, pause or withdraw an entry.
09

10
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version lives on this page, with the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. If a change is material and you have an account, we will notify you.
11
If something is wrong
These terms are the whole agreement between you and The Frequenter about the site, the letter and membership, and they replace any earlier ones.
Write to hello@thefrequenter.com if you have further questions.
